Packages
A website is made up of webpages (e.g. home, about us, products, services, contact us). All of our packages are based on simple xHTML websites. xHTML stands for "extensible Hyper Text Mark-up Language", in simple terms this is the language we use to write our websites.
In order to set-up a website you must first register a domain name, in other words you must register the name of your website. Your domain name will be your website address (our domain name is simpledesignconcepts.co.uk).
Domain registration costs vary, a '.com' domain (eg. www.yoursite.com) costs around £25 for 2 years, whereas a '.co.uk' domain (eg. www.yoursite.co.uk) only costs around £9 for 2 years.
In order for others to view your website it must be stored on a computer which is always turned on and connected to the internet. This computer must also have adequate security in place to ensure your website is safe. The process of storing a website in this manner is called hosting and the computer used is usually referred to as a server.
Whilst it is possible to host your own website, it's generally easier to sign up to a service provided by companies known as web hosts. A web host will store your website on their server, provide you with an email service and also provide the required security. For our websites only a very basic package is required, the cost of this will be around £3-£4 per month (there is no contract so you can cancel at anytime).
We will handle all of this for you. We will register your domain, we will sign you up to a web host and on completion of the design work, we will transfer your website onto your web host's server. 4 weeks after launch we will contact you to see if any tweaking is necessary.

Package 2 - .com domain registration, design of up to 5 web pages, web host registration, upload on completion, 4 week review. £315 (Additional pages £40)
Package 3 - .co.uk domain registration, design of up to 10 web pages, web host registration, upload on completion, 4 week review. £400 (Additional pages £35)
Package 4 - .com domain registration, design of up to 10 web pages, web host registration, upload on completion, 4 week review. £415 (Additional pages £35)
